Dr. Abdu Mudesir is a globally acclaimed telecommunications executive and prominent AI optimist known for transforming complex artificial intelligence concepts into deployable, large-scale network solutions. His career includes an impactful eight-year tenure at Deutsche Telekom AG, culminating as the Executive Board Member responsible for Networks, IT, and Products. Prior to this, he drove next-generation network strategy at Huawei Technologies, serving as Vice President of 5G Europe. 
Alongside his executive role at Deutsche Telekom and his service as a Board Member at T-Mobile US, Abdu has consistently championed the shift toward open, intelligent, and scalable digital infrastructure. His signature achievements include embedding real-time Agentic AI directly into network workflows for autonomous, self-healing operations, and launching the groundbreaking Magenta AI Call Assistant to revolutionize global voice services. As a former Chairman of the O-RAN Alliance, he remains deeply dedicated to advancing the role of AI in creating more resilient, intelligent, and customer-centric digital ecosystems.
